Dear Glodel

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the wonderful work you do.

It is absolutely wonderful to see and experience these magnificent creatures from so near. Thank you for caring and looking out for them.

The main reason for my writing is to THANK YOU for giving my son Enrico the opportunity to work with these birds. We first me your team at the Northmead squire, where you had an exhibition, and were all fascinated to be so close to the birds of prey. We learned about the Rhino and Lion Park and paid them a visit in December. We were amazed to see the birds fly, an experience that stayed with us. I think all our friends were sick and tired of hearing about the birds. A lot of them have decided to see for themselves why we are raving like this. And now they are the raving ones! Then we read that you were at the Kopanong Hotel. Enrico was enthralled that you were so near to our home and he begged me to ask you if he could help you with the birds. When you gave your permission in March, he was ecstatic!

He was up during the school holidays at 5:45, storming into our bedroom with the words: "Get up, get up. I'm late for work!" When we fetched him in the afternoons he was unwilling to come home.  I think if he was allowed to pitch a tent and stayed there, he would have. He would be worried about every bird at night. I'm sure he prayed for them by mentioning them by name to the Lord. He was so sad when the holidays ended, he thought that the world ended, but was pleased to know that he can go to the birds every weekend.

Thanks to everybody, but in particular to Nicole, Jason and Dillon for your patients, love and attention that you gave Enrico. With this, and your knowledge that you shared with him you are making this 11 year old, a stronger little boy and ensuring that his love grows and are preparing him for his future, which we believe will definitely be in Nature Conservation. You are definitely role model she can look up to!

We are looking forward to spending more time with you in the future and hope to pay a visit to Pietersburg in December.
